To whom it may concern,

I am a pre-registration optometrist looking for a newly qualified position and my first “proper” full time job. I had not previously used a recruitment agency and I’ll admit, was hesitant due to stories I had heard from friends and colleagues about being constantly hounded once they have your details. Before coming to yourselves, I had applied for a job with another agency where these stories became a reality. I was on the phone with them for less than five minutes, wasn’t listened to, my name was being spelt incorrectly in correspondence, and I was being sent interview dates and times for positions I did not want and had made clear of that. This was worlds away from the previous agency, and I was so incredibly impressed by your friendly yet professional nature. This phone call was only one of many; I was supported through securing a position at a highly respected Independent Opticians – the job I originally applied for and really wanted (so he clearly knows his stuff!).

However, what really makes you an incredible recruiter is your dedication to your profession and the way in which you continually go above and beyond the call of duty. As and when required, you have gone out of your way to speak with me during working hours, evenings and days off. Not only have you been there for me professionally, as a recruiter, you have also offered emotional support and guidance. For example, on handing in my first ever notice- something I was particularly concerned about.
