Frequently asked questions

The most obvious reason is that you don’t have any candidates… the methods you have utilised, probably on more than one occasion, are the same methods you’ve used time and again, without result. These failed attempts to fill your role have cost the store significantly; some tangible costs like paying for an advert, and having to use expensive locums to cover gaps in your rota, combined with more subtle costs; the time you spent organising the recruitment process, handling queries (if you got them), writing and posting adverts…

Andrew Dean - Director


Andrew has specialised in permanent Optical recruitment since 2010 and gains a real sense of satisfaction from placing great people into positions where they are going to be happy (long-term), but also where they are going to make a significant contribution to the success of their new employer.
When not at work, Andrew loves spending time with his family and friends. He is married with two young children, a dog, two cats and some fish.

James has been specialising within the Optical sector since 2011.

James approaches recruitment in a professional manner, twinned with a sense of humour.

He has an unrivalled knowledge of recruiting on a permanent basis, within a range of different healthcare sectors. In his spare time, James enjoys running, watching football & the cinema.

Harriet Brown

Harriet Brown - Office Manager


Harriet started working at i-seek in April 2018, coming from a 14 year career working in the finance department of a debt charity. She joins i-seek in the Office Manager role.

In her spare time, Harriet enjoys listening to music, reading crime novels and spending time with her family, husband and 2 cats.

Suzanne Hurry

Suzanne Hurry - Administrator


Suzanne joined the i-seek in 2018; adding extra resource to the administration team. Her work forms a vital bridge between our admin/marketing function and the work of our consultants. Suzanne spent many years with a well-known, high-street retailer; gaining multiple skills relevant to the recruitment sector.

Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Suzanne is married, with two young children.

Rohan Fletcher

Rohan Fletcher - Recruitment Consultant


Rohan joined i-seek in August 2018, after studying at the University of Nottingham as well as living in the United States for a year. He joined the team as a consultant, specialising in the recruitment of Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and Audiologists.

In his spare time, Rohan loves watching American Football, playing English football and travelling. He is engaged and is looking to move in with his fiancé when she moves over from America.

Ciaran Fletcher

Ciaran Fletcher - Recruitment Consultant


Little brother of Rohan, Ciaran is also a lover of American Football, particularly the Minnesota Vikings. He is passionate about fitness and is planning on partaking in competitive bodybuilding in 2019.

From 2015 to 2018 Ciaran studied at Bath Spa University and has a degree in Religions, Philosophies and Ethics.

In his spare time, Ciaran enjoys the company of his friends and family. He loves his food – especially curries!

Chris Vasey

Chris Vasey - IT Manager


Chris keeps all the website and computer systems running for i-seek recruitment.
He has a keen interest in new technologies and regularly attends industry conferences and meetups.

Chris has over 5 years experience working in enterprise systems architecture and is certified in a number of technologies.

When he isn’t under a desk following cables Chris likes to run and cycle.
